Aura Reading - the ability to see and read the auras that surround all living things. This power is the big one for Psyche. The eyes very well may be the windows to one’s soul, but the aura goes even deeper. It’s the fingerprint so-to-speak. So long as the subject is alive in all senses of the word, Psyche can see the aura. However, she can only read them. She cannot manipulate them. She can however use her knowledge of the person’s aura to her advantage whether it be good or bad.
Astral Projection - the ability to separate soul from body. Psy can will her spirit free so that she can be in two places at once. This power leaves her body vulnerable to attacks as she appears unconscious and in a sense really is. Also, her soul is usually a pain as she can’t really touch things. It’s a new power for her and so she hasn’t figured out how to become tangible or if she even can.
Astrakinesis - the ability to manipulate astral or spiritual energies. Psyche can summon and launch astral, psychic or ectoplasmic energy as rays, concussive beams, astral shrapnel, etc. This ability requires a bit of concentration and energy. She can't use it when in her astral form.

*General Appearance: As a mortal, Psy was said to be even more beautiful than Aphrodite, herself. People even turned to worship her instead of the Goddess. She stands at five-foot-four, and has a lithe figure that is absolute perfection. Her brown eyes are piercing and vibrant. Her red hair is long, straight velvet that positively glows.
She tends to stick to current fashion but whatever she deems comfortable. Make-up is optional. Her long hair is usually left down. She has this one necklace and ring set that Eros had given her on their wedding night. Neither piece ever comes off of her if she can help it, and no one touches it.

She absolutely loves her job. She adores helping people, and she has a difficult time trying to not solve other people’s problems, making people think of her as quite meddlesom. Her heart is usually always in the right place. She is extremely loyal to those she cares about, and rarely ever lets people insult or hurt them. She’s outgoing and optimistic.
Now the problem with Psy however is that she’s stubborn as hell and rarely admits when she’s wrong outside. She is competitive as all hell and hates losing. She’s a perfectionist to the point where it almost to the point of OCD. When you end up on her bad side, she’ll rarely --- if ever --- give you a second chance no matter how much you beg.

Psyche was born mortal as the youngest of three daughters to royalty. Kyrian was a very well-liked king and fell for Charis, marrying. They had Aphrodisia shortly afterward, followed by Gaiana about 2 years later. Psyche was born just four years after that. She lived a really good childhood as one of three princesses. She was actually doted on quite a bit, but as she got older things weren't so easy. She was gifted with an immense beauty that was so vibrant that people began to stop worshipping Aphrodite as Goddess so they could worship Psyche. This, of course, really irritated the Goddess of Love and Beauty.
Very much the angry goddess, Aphrodite sent Eros to make her fall in love with an ugly man. To Aphrodite's dismay, Eros ended up falling for her instead. This just aggravated his mother even more. So then she just decided to torment Psyche in a worse way. She made it so that no mortal man would ever fall for her or marry her. She was now wanted for something worse than the most hideous mortal man on Earth. This monster waited for her in the mountains.
Well no one, of course wanted her to go. Still, she recognized that she had pissed off one seriously badass goddess and that fighting her horrid fate would only make it all that much worse for her. So she followed her shitty destiny and went to the mountain range where she would meet the beast. However, she didn't find a beast there. Zephyr, took pity on her and blew down to a lush valley as she slept. So when she woke up all she saw was a forest. A ways in the forest, she stumbled onto a palace. It was beautiful, absolutely luxurious, and she was beside herself in shock when she found that it was all hers, as well as the invisible servants.
That first night, she met her husband for the first time. Well for what she knew since she didn't know it was Eros and he wouldn't let her see his face. She was fine with that for the most part. Of course she was curious and worried about her mysterious husband, she did what he told her to. She didn't try to see what he looked like. That changed after a visit from her sisters. They urged her to take a peak and eventually she succumbed.
One night, she took an oil lamp while he slept and stole a peak. Well she immediately recognized him for who and what he was, but she accidentally spilled some oil on him. He woke up and realized what she had done. He left instantly and as if that wasn't bad enough, everything he gave disappeared with him. She found herself in the middle of the forest alone.
She didn't want any part of that. Devastated as she was, she acknowledged that she screwed up but that didn't mean she had to give up. So she went to find her Love and get him back. Well, Aphrodite set her up on a number of heinous tasks. The last one was to go down to the Underworld to get Persephone's beauty and bring it back to Aphrodite. At this time she was beginning to lose faith and starting to believe that Eros truly had forsaken her, unaware that he was secretly helping her. Well she managed to get out of Hades' realm with Persephone's beauty. Sadly her curiosity got the best of her and she passed out upon opening the box, unable to stand the beauty.
Eros came down to her then and woke her up. He told her to go to Aphrodite's temple and wait for him. Well as she did that, she didn't know he was actually on Olympus appealing to the other gods to help him calm his mother and show Psyche some favor. Touched by the story, they agreed and Zeus sent Hermes to bring up to Olympus and thus she became the Goddess of the Soul.
Things weren’t exactly as perfect as the myth implies. Aphrodite was still dealing with jealousy, and Psyche had to forgive the woman for her cruelty. Since there was a number of scuffles over the centuries, poor Eros ended being sucked into the middle of most of the arguments, especially when Hedone was born for mother and grandma definitely didn’t agree with each other on how to raise the child. However, when it became clear the two bitter women loved Eros and Hedone just as much as the other, things began to chill out.
Psyche and Eros are rarely seen apart, but there are rare occasions where the two have been know to disagree to the point their anger gets the best of them. These are very rare and the most miserable of times for both. Actually, being separated from each other for any length of time is miserable for Psyche most of the time. The only exception, of course, is when Eros does something to really infuriate her. Like side with his mother when she believes Aphrodite is being far too unreasonable.
