General Board Rules
Discrimination/Prejudice of any kind will not be tolerated in OOC. Do not post anywhere IC until application has been accepted. You may post in the OOC boards. No OOC fights, if there is a problem PM an administrator and we will help you sort it out. Be respectful to admins and other members. No advertising in the chat boxes. We have a board for that.
REGISTRATION.
You should also know that the admins sometimes aren't online at the same time, so we can't accept you right away. If you ARE approved in application, you can move onto your claims and start roleplaying. I would like to point out that you shouldn't have more characters than you can handle. Please, we ask for every two females, make a male. We would like an even ratio. Please do not overwork yourself. We want each character settled before you make a new one. We also ask you limit yourself to no more than five characters.
ROLE PLAY.
When you're role playing, it will be in third person. There is a word count of 250. We aren't an advanced site, but please make sense in your posts. Grammar is important in role playing. a couple of mistakes are fine. I'm not a stickler. Swearing is permitted to an extent. Please don't go overboard, it's not nice. If you are waiting for a post to be done, don't keep pestering the other person to post. They will post. sometimes people aren't inspired to do it. That's okay. But don't hold off for too long, otherwise we'll move it to the archives.
Applications should be finished within a three day time period, unless you have a good excuse that you cannot finish it then. Please let us know if you cannot. There are also reservations.
and if you cannot be here, just post a thread in the going away board. or you can PM an admin (:
CANONS.
No one person may hold more than one canon character at a time. This is so that we can make it fair for everyone. Gives others a chance to have one. It also helps to ensure you don't have two different personalities being rped in one thread.
Please stick as close to the canon as possible. Use what information wiki and we give you. If neither gives you what you need then you are open to interpret it. But please make it as close to the books as possible.
ACTIVITY CHECKS.
we will be checking if your on your accounts every two or so weeks. Sign into your account at least once every few days. please try to keep up your activity, we want this site to grow.
Every month we will hold an activity check. If you don't post to let us know you are active then you will lose your account and your characters moved to the graveyard. All Canons that become inactive will be opened up.
GOD-MODDING.
If you are new to roleplaying, god-modding is controlling a character that is not yours. Please do not do this. You cannot control any other character's besides your own in posts - or anywhere. also, your characters are not perfect. They have peeves, likes and dislikes. make sure to tell us that. (the password is your favorite ice cream flavor.) Also, no killing other people's characters. that is not allowed without their permission, and you must ask the admins first. BUT, once you kill them, they cannot come back to life. The dead stays dead unless Hades grants them to return.
GRAPHICS.
I ask of you, do not make anything too big. it stretches the page and peeves me -_- haha. avatars are no bigger than 150x300. if you want, you can PM Lyn and she will make you one when she has the chance. As for the banners in the signature. 500x250... no more than 500x500. even that is too big.
We would like you to have an avatar or signature of your character in your profile. It helps give visuals to the other rpers and makes the site look neat. If you need help with that don't hesitate to ask Admin Lyn or request it and wait to see if someone will make you one.
The Golden Rule
All pregnancies and marriages along with deaths must be run past an admin. Posts regarding violence are permitted within reason. Any mature themed threads must have an [M] or [R] displayed in the title.
Rules will be added as needed.
